Bob Tidd has been a dedicated force in international missions since 1982, bringing a practical, hands-on approach to his extensive work. His early years saw him in Argentina, where he honed his Spanish skills and contributed to church initiatives through carpentry and support roles. He then spent a decade in Guatemala, pioneering the use of portable sawmills to provide essential lumber for building places of worship, educational facilities, and vital community infrastructure. His efforts significantly impacted local development and included overseeing the construction of a Christian school.
His ministry expanded to a Caribbean nation, where he served as an interim pastor, concurrently establishing a bus company to fund critical outreach efforts in a nearby island nation. A pivotal chapter of his work involved leading the International School of Ministry (ISOM) as Regional Coordinator from 2000 to 2017. Through his leadership and the dedication of the local team, ISOM's reach grew exponentially, empowering over 6,000 students across more than 35 denominations throughout that island nation.
Since 2017, Bob has focused his efforts on developing "Buenas Impresiones," a leading Christian print shop in the island nation. This enterprise is responsible for producing vital school literature, Christian books, and Gospel tracts. His logistical expertise is evident in his successful coordination of numerous container shipments, delivering essential food supplies (rice and beans) and diverse hard goods (including medical equipment, bicycles, and church supplies) to the island through various ministries. Furthermore, he actively supports Bread of Life Ministries, providing medicine and aid to vulnerable retirees in that nation, and Messiah Ministries, equipping Christian medical professionals with crucial supplies.
A US Army veteran, Bob's diverse background includes a technical education in HVAC and prior work in building maintenance. He speaks fluent Spanish, and his life's path took a significant turn in 1972 when he committed his life to Jesus. He also holds a Class B CDL and a Motorcycle License.
